T O P I C R E V I E WDebby4Well... Hi. So I kinda sorta like this guy at my school and was looking at our birth charts in synastry and realized that my vertex in cancer/8th house is in his first house which is also cancer. :O And his vertex is in scorpio in his 5th house which is in my 12th house. And He kinda creeps me out in a good way I guess.. So not sure what I'm trying to ask but I think it's [Could we possible end up in a relationship?] amowls**First: do you have an accurate birth time for him? The vertex moves very quickly because it's based off of the ASC and MC positions.Second: The vertex is only significant if a planet or angle conjuncts or opposes it by 2 degrees or less. Some say squares count but I'm not sure about that.Third: the vertex doesn't necessarily spell happily ever after. All it indicates is a fated relationship. You two are destined to meet but it doesn't necessarily mean in a romantic sense. That comes from other factors in your charts.seaofjoyabove comment is correct, Vertex is significant but it need to be conjunct a significant angle to be felt a bit more, remember to check if the ANTI VERTEX (aka directly opposite the vertex) touches anything, often you will feel very familiar with these contacts.Debby4:O Hmmm time to think. And I actually don't have a correct birth time but maybe I do? xD Idk maybe just my teenage hormones :Pfriture quote:Originally posted by seaofjoy:above comment is correct, Vertex is significant but it need to be conjunct a significant angle to be felt a bit more, remember to check if the ANTI VERTEX (aka directly opposite the vertex) touches anything, often you will feel very familiar with these contacts.Sorry this probably looked like I am hijacking the thread, but could you tell me what happens with Vertex Conjunct Descendant (1 deg) in synastry? Thank you~
